This policy explains how Portal Craft Line (“we”) handles personal information for the website https://portalcraftline.click/ and for editorial work arranged by email or telephone. Information we do not collect through this website

This website does not include lead forms, contact forms, newsletter boxes, or account registration. We do not claim to collect form submissions because no such forms exist here.

Information we may collect

Correspondence. If you email or telephone us, we process the content of that conversation, your phone number or email address, and any issue titles you volunteer, so we can quote and deliver a brief.

Technical logs. Our hosting environment may automatically record IP address, browser type, and requested URLs in server logs for security and fault finding.

Cookie choice. If you use the banner, we store a yes/no preference in localStorage on your device under a Portal Craft Line prefixed key. That storage sits on your device, not in a lead database.

Optional analytics cookies. These are used only if you press Accept on the banner. Reject leaves them off. See the cookie policy.

Purpose and lawful bases

We process correspondence to take steps at your request before a contract and to perform a contract for a commissioned brief (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). Server logs are processed for legitimate interests in keeping the site stable and secure (Article 6(1)(f)). Cookie analytics, if any, rely on consent (Article 6(1)(a)).

Retention

Email threads about a delivered brief are kept for up to seven years for accounting and dispute handling. Unsuccessful quote threads are kept for up to eighteen months. Server logs are typically rotated within ninety days unless a security investigation needs them longer. You can delete localStorage yourself.

Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, or objection, and you may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) in the United Kingdom. To exercise rights, email info@portalcraftline.click. We will not demand a web form.

International transfers

Email and hosting providers may process data in the UK, EEA, or other countries. Where a transfer leaves the UK, we rely on the provider’s appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Cookies and third parties

Fonts may load from Google Fonts. Images may load from Unsplash. Visiting Veve or other links is governed by those sites. We do not sell personal information.

Children

The site is aimed at adults arranging editorial work. We do not seek data from children.
